Home | KOZMINO PORT/TERMINAL
Kozmino is an oil port located near Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, Russia and close to Russia's borders with China and North Korea, on the coast of the Sea of Japan. Kozmino is the terminal point of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Meridian pipeline. With the opening of its terminal on December 28, 2009, the port of Kozmino instantly became Russia’s third-most important oil outlet.
Transneft and Rosmorport carry out the port expansion project, including overhaul of the dam and dredging of the basin of Berth No 2. This will allow two berths to accommodate 150,000DWT oil tankers. The oil port capacity will be increased through the construction of new oil storage tanks. Oil Terminal Kozmino is the terminus of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO). The port was built for transshipment of crude oil delivered by pipeline and railway to sea-going oil tankers.
Crude oil terminal in the Russian far-east, supplied by the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline, transported from source in Taishet directly to the port. Port is ice-free throughout the year, but some floating ice may be experienced in the approaches
