Tuapse Port/Tuapse Oil Terminal is an oil import-export terminal located 8 km (5.0 mi) offshore the Port of Tuapse in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is one of the biggest oil terminals in the Black Sea that serves as a hub for crude oil deliveries to the Black Sea market. The terminal started operations in 2005. The overall capacity of the import-export terminal is approximately 71 million barrels per annum (~9.7×106 t/a) of oil but capacity will be increased to 121 million barrels per annum (~1.65×107 t/a) by 2015. Tanker loading capacity is suitable for Aframax tankers up to 110,000 DWT. The terminal serves as a supplier for the nearby Tuapse Refinery and other Russian Refineries.
Tuapse has two anchorage areas (417 & 418) abreast of each other and facing the port. The Port can accommodate ships with max LOA 250.00 M at max permissible draft of 14.00 meters. Salinity ranges from 1.011 – 1.014, the port is considered as brackish water. Pilotage & Towage is compulsory for all ships. Night time berthing/un-berthing is permitted. .
The Port's warehouse and storage facilities are: Open storage area of 24600 sq. m. Warehouse indoor area of 8027 sq. m. Tuapse Sea Trade Port has 3 specialized terminals: Terminal for handling dry cargoes with total length of berths - 761m and depth of berths - 7.1 to 13m. Terminal for handling oil and petroleum cargoes with total length of berths - 1183m and depth of berths - 9.75 to 13m. Passenger Terminal with total length of berths - 275m and depth of berths - 7.3 to 9.15m. .
